T20
“On Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th we attended the T20 (Think 20) Summit at the CCK center. Basically this conference summoned researchers, students, politicians, economists, etc., to discuss topics that will be present at the G20 here in Argentina. Basing themselves on these discussions, such as Education in a Digital Age, Gender Economic Equity, the Impact of Artificial Intelligence, Tax-Cooperation and Food Security, the so-called ‘think tankers’ worked for a year to write final recommendations and advice for the actual G20 2018.
We were lucky to be invited by Mercedes Méndez Ribas, a former student of BDS, who is one of the Directors of CIPPEC , and an organizer of the T20. She was ever so kind to show us the terrace of the CCK, exclusive for those who were making speeches and members of the Board. Moreover, we heard wonderful speeches of people who clearly were well-studied and prepared from all over the world (Japan, Colombia, Germany, Australia, and more).
It was a pleasure to have this truly fruitful experience and we would like to thank Claudia Gelonch for thinking of us when given the opportunity to invite some students from BDS.”
